Mentor Minutes – Jaimie Hutchison
Spartan Jaimie Hutchison discusses her love for advising and empowering others to reach their goals.
Jaimie Hutchison is a leader in the education industry, focusing on program management, counseling, academic advising, career exploration, and college access. Her specialty is strengthening connections. She serves as school counselor for Webberville Middle and High School.
Jaimie’s diverse work experiences have prepared her for focusing on the wide array of needs that high school and college students have. Prior to joining Webberville, Jaimie worked for several educational, government, and non-profit organizations in California, Montana, Colorado, and Michigan. Jaimie chose to return to Michigan to put her skills to work in her home state. Jaimie is an active volunteer in her community and is involved with the Girl Scouts, Junior League of Lansing, and the Lansing Jaycees.
Jaimie enjoys travel, cultural events, photography, and empowering others to reach their goals. Jaimie and her family are proud Spartans and enjoy all of the diverse events and activities that Michigan State University and the Greater Lansing Area have to offer.
